What do negotiations to end the war in Iran look like to those at the table?  What role might the United Nations or Gulf States play in ending the violence in Gaza or Lebanon?  Is there hope for diplomacy with Russia?

Join us for a moderated conversation and Q&A with UW graduate and diplomat Dr. Mohamed Al-Hassan. With extensive experience navigating the US / Iran relationship; representing Oman at the United Nations and serving as the UN representative in Iraq; and leading Oman’s diplomatic mission to Russia, Dr. Al-Hassan brings an insider’s perspective on some of the most difficult diplomatic challenges of the day.

Moderated by Director of the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies Dr. Danny Hoffman and Director of the UW Middle East Center Dr. Asli Cansunar. In person and online audiences will have the opportunity to submit their own questions in this wide-ranging exchange.
