UWAA Member Reception and Lecture with Paola Ramos

UWAA members are invited to join Paola Ramos for a pre-lecture gathering at nearby Ananas Pizzeria before she takes the stage at Town Hall Seattle. This is your chance to mingle with other Huskies and meet Ramos, author and Emmy-Award winning journalist for Telemundo and MSNBC.

After the reception, stroll across the street to Town Hall for this season’s first lecture presented by the UW Office of Public Lectures. Paola Ramos will be joined by UW faculty member Sophia Jordán Wallace in a conversation focused on the evolving landscape of Latino voter engagement and political participation. Hear about shifting demographics, policy priorities and the critical role Latino voters play in shaping electoral outcomes across America.
