Film Premiere: "Betting on the Beavers"
What happens when beavers move onto a college campus? A new documentary follows a UW Bothell student’s capstone research while exploring how these ecosystem engineers can slow floods, improve water quality and create habitat for wildlife.
After the film there will be a brief Q&A including the film director, the featured student researcher and a wetland crew member.
Come early to mingle and learn more about the North Creek Wetland and beavers thanks to Beavers Northwest and the UW Bothell Office of Sustainability. Free popcorn will be available.
