Student presenting their research
Research showcase

The Research Showcase aims to create an intellectual nexus for current researchers in the Department of Chemical Engineering to share their work with our colleagues, industry and regional partners, and alumni.

This showcase provides graduate and postdoctoral researchers an opportunity to practice their presentation skills to a highly interdisciplinary audience and gain valuable feedback from people both in and outside of academia. Moreover, the event serves as a forum in which industry representatives can share their experience, discuss cutting edge research directions and impact, and get to know the current and next generation of scientists and engineers in ChemE.

The symposium includes an industry keynote speaker, a panel composed of UW ChemE M.S. and Ph.D. alumni in industry, and student talks. We will conclude the event with a reception and graduate student posters showcasing the latest research in biotechnology, healthcare, energy and sustainability, materials, computation, and data science.

We are excited to invite you to the Department Research Showcase taking place on Sept 24th 1-7pm in NanoES 181 and Commons: 2026 Department of Chemical Engineering Research Showcase | UW Chemical Engineering

This event is free and open to all. Please contact Tess Wrobleski, tessw2@uw.edu, with event questions.
